Did you say we couldn’t have kids?

In 1998 after being married 2 years, Dana and I thought it was good time to start a family. The journey to parenthood involved many tears, many appointments, much waiting, a lot of discouragement, much prayer and some great lessons on the timing of God.img_0014

One doctor told us we could not have kids and he did not know why. I just want to say that God has the final say. You can trust Him. We were given a lot of advice of what we should take (fertility drugs) and medical procedures we should have done. We are not putting those medical options down, but we trusted in God and his timing, and I am the dad to Andrew, Mollie, Luke and Jake.img_0030

Not bad for not being able to have kids.

  1. I am so glad our God is still in the business of miracles.

I still remember the day that you called to meet you at the Chick-Fil-A at Waverly. There, we ordered and before our first bite, you exploded with the news that God had brought life to you and your wife in a way like never before.

I will never forget that day of rejoicing with you and I am sure the patrons at Chick-Fil-A will not either.

And after birthing 4 kids, you are now birthing a new church…Wow!

Thanks for letting me be a part of your miracle.

  2. How awesome is our GOD!!!!!!!!! You guys are wonderful parents and an inspiration to be around. His timing truely is perfect!

  3. Praise God for His perfect timing!! I love your kids!!! You guys are such a blessing to me!

  4. Not bad Matt, not bad at all.

Remembering the journey you and Dana took…
Remembering the same news we received several years before…

And thanking God that He knew better than all the rest!
